Featuring ex-members of both Rolo Tomassi and Antares, Sheffield’s newest instrumental shredders Body Hound are set to release their debut EP, Rhombus Now. And, the best news is, you can pay what you like for it.

Although a relatively new venture – having formed in late 2013 – Body Hound have already turned a number of heads with their unique sound whilst sharing the stage alongside the likes of Deafheaven, Crash Of Rhinos, Enemies and Alright The Captain. Their music an intelligent series of demanding complexities and vigorous song structures; it’s clear why the northern quartet have been so well received within the alternative live scene. But, with the release of their new ‘pay-what-you-want’ 6-track EP, Body Hound will not only be welcomed as new favourites to the experimental community, but they’ll be worshipped as pioneers for years to come.

With the release of Rhombus Now on the 14th of April, we’re really happy to be able to give our readers the first listen of this epic 6-track EP. Full stream above.

Here’s what Body Hound had to say about the record…

“We hope you enjoy listening to this EP as much as we enjoyed taking over a year to get to the point where we could record it. Enormous thanks goes to Tom Prendergast for driving himself to a cult leader level of insanity recording and mixing us”
